Answers to the questions customers ask most about using your unit, terms and moving out.
Using your unit
Can someone else access my unit?
Yes, if you add them to your account as an authorised person. They will also need your padlock key.
What can't I store?
You can't store anything flammable, explosive or hazardous, including petrol, gas bottles, paint, solvents and chemicals. Food and other perishables, plants, animals, firearms and ammunition, and anything illegal are also not allowed.
We also recommend you don't store cash, jewellery or irreplaceable items. The full list is in our Storage Terms.
Can I store a car, motorbike or boat?
Not in our standard units. Ask us if you need vehicle storage and we will tell you what we can offer.
Terms & moving out
Is there a minimum term?
The minimum term is four weeks. After that you stay month to month for as long as you need.
How much notice do I need to give?
Please give us 14 days notice before you move out, then empty and sweep the unit and remove your padlock on your last day.
Can I change unit size?
Yes. If a different size is available, we can move you across and adjust your rate from the date you change.
What happens if I fall behind on payments?
We will contact you first. If fees stay unpaid, access may be suspended and further steps may follow under the Storage Terms, so please talk to us early if you are having trouble.
